Oculus is heavily involved in guiding and supporting several international government’s anti-corruption and asset recovery programmes. This includes providing specialists to aid in writing legislation and setting up amnesty schemes and whistleblowing schemes supported by law enforcement.

Through this work Oculus has created extensive connections into law enforcement bodies and a process of recovery relying on international buy in from government donors and organisations that support transparency. Oculus is able to design a scheme that meets international best practice and help governments, or their agencies conduct these strategies with international support.

Oculus’s extensive network has expertise emanating from multiple government, military and law enforcement departments in the UK, US and multiple other jurisdictions. Oculus is able to provide insight into how to work with specific organisations and guide businesses or individuals on how to structure their organisation in line with the needs of a specific government’s and/or provide guidance in relation to wider geopolitical issues. This can include:

• Providing strategies in keeping with a specific government’s foreign policy;

• How to understand local political motivations;

• Helping to understand wider, global political agendas;

• Helping to deescalate situations, and

• Direct negotiations with Government interlocuters.
