Oculus’s Intelligence Analysts and Researchers will initially utilise the ‘Oculus Toolbox’. The Oculus Toolbox includes the latest open-source intelligence techniques, databases, analytical tools, dark web interrogation tools, and other resources to collect and analyse information in relation to the client’s objectives. Oculus may also use its extensive human intelligence network to collect information in relation to those objectives. The investigations follow a process that is utilised in government and law enforcement agencies to produce effective information for the client. Oculus has significant experience conducting investigations in support of:

• Uncovering and countering Financial Fraud;

• Enhanced Due Diligence; and

• Litigation support.

Oculus’s extensive human intelligence experience can collect data and intelligence that is usually very difficult to acquire. This includes the use of source development, source exploitation, surveillance (in jurisdictions where this is legal) and other specialist services.

Oculus assists clients in the tracing and recovery of misappropriated assets and conducts investigations to understand the total asset base of individuals, families and corporations.

This can include geopolitical issues, economics (accounting), conducting businesses in specific areas of interests, or using evidence to predict actions of a government or other party. The thematic reports are supported by Oculus’s intelligence collection assets, enabling a subject matter expert to have access to the most accurate information.

Oculus’s intelligence experts have significant experience using cutting edge intelligence, analytical and collection tools. These are also used by governments and law enforcement agencies. Additionally, Oculus has aided in the development of an intelligence analytical platform “Fact360”. Oculus is able to provide this software as a service to give specific insights on data sets to a client.

Oculus can provide physical security assessments which will outline weaknesses of the client and highlight the necessary measures to mitigate this risk. If required, Oculus can then provide the necessary resources to meet those recommendations. This can include:
